this is my first post!! never thought i would make one of these, but i think it will be fun and maybe it will give me a good place to show anyone interested a little bit of what i love/do... now for i will share with you the random thing that made me decide to make this blog... i was browsing marc jacobs fall 2010 collection and although i usually adore the style, uniqueness, and innovation that show through in each of his pieces... i cannot even begin to make myself like this outfit.... and i was about to post it on facebook, when i had the brilliant idea to make this blog where i could talk about it! ok so first of all.... there are so many things wrong with this outfit... i mean, the skirt or dress or whatever it is... seriously just looks like a piece of fabric that is falling of of her... i mean the fabric alone could be pretty but the way it is draping on her looks messy... then we move to the real disaster here... the sweater! i mean really?!? this being his ready to wear collection i have to ask.... who is ready to wear this???? another issue i have, is that he has done the majority of his skirts/dresses in this super odd length that hits right below the knee, or mid calf.... this does not make anyone look good.

however, it was not all bad.... not by a long shot, there were some extremely incredible, beautiful pieces, these are just a few.....


over all i would say that... it's not my favorite collection i've seen by the brilliant designer... but i find some of these pieces so stunning that i have to say .... well done... well done.
